It’s taking time to build a team that the supporters can connect with and a group that fights for each other, but slowly and surely, we’re seeing this come together. The last two home games and the away games against Canterbury and Tunbridge Wells have seen a mixture of older and younger supporters who are connecting with the players, which is great to see. As we continue to build this team and squad, the interaction with our youth players, parents, managers, coaches, and of course supporters will continue to grow, which will help us, both in the short and long term. The atmosphere in the ground on Saturday with over 400 supporters and generations of supporters singing together is exactly what we want to see and hear. Let’s hope we can make this coming Saturday another great atmosphere and the team can respond in a fashion that continues to make you as fans proud of them!
Come on you Oysters! See you all next Saturday,
Matt
