On Tuesday evening, Whitstable play Hythe Town in a rearranged league match at the Belmont. The original fixture was postponed due to Hythe’s involvement in the First Round Qualifying of the FA Trophy. Gates open at 6.30 p.m. for a 7.45 p.m. kick off, so if you are able, please come and give the team your support to see if they can make it four wins in four games!

Then, at the weekend, it’s back to cup action as Whitstable travel to face Ashford Town (Middlesex) in the FA Trophy Second Round Qualifying on Saturday 17th October. Whilst Whitstable had a bye in the previous round, Ashford beat Essex based North Division team Hulbridge Sports 1-0 with a last minute goal by Steven Duff. Ashford are currently in 6th place in the South Central Division with a record of two wins, one draw and one defeat.

The tie will be settled on Saturday and there will be no extra time, but penalties if required. The winners will receive £2,250 and the losers £575. The Third Round Qualifying for the team that progresses will be played on Saturday 31st October.
