Whitstable Town Football Club’s Under-13s team has secured a place in the quarter-finals of the prestigious Kent Cup after an impressive and hard-fought 2-0 victory over Cray Wanderers in the third round stage.

The match, played in challenging conditions, saw both teams giving their all in a fast-paced and physically demanding encounter. The Whitstable side showed great character and determination throughout the game, holding their nerve in a match that tested their mental and physical limits.

From the outset, Cray Wanderers put up a strong challenge, creating multiple chances and putting Whitstable's defence under pressure. However, Whitstable’s resilience and team spirit shone through as they weathered the storm and capitalised on key moments.

Manager Ron Jacques was full of praise for the team’s performance. "It was a tough match, and Cray Wanderers really pushed us to the limit," said Ron.
