The first half was a cagey affair, with Sevenoaks enjoying good possession but Whitstable creating the best chances on the counter. In the second half, Sevenoaks went 2-0 up early, but Whitstable suddenly woke up and battled back to 2-2. With both teams pushing for a winner, the game ended at full-time, and it was straight into penalties.

Both teams converted their early penalties, but the turning point came with Sevenoaks' third taker. He stepped up and rocketed one towards the corner, thinking he’d surely scored, but he forgot about Whitstable U13’s Number 1, Freddie Robertson, who pulled off a worldie save.

Whitstable progressed 5-4 on penalties and are now through to the Kent Cup semi-finals!
