Since September, Whitstable Town Football Club and Tankerton Football Club have been running successful free football sessions for girls and will continue to do so every Saturday during term time.

Over 70 girls have now registered, with over 40 attending each week. The sessions are held at The Whitstable School on a Saturday morning and run by experienced, qualified coaches. The sessions are fun and friendly and allow girls to try football for the first time or develop existing skills. All abilities are welcome. Following two years of lockdowns, this is a chance for girls to get out into the fresh air and take part in regular exercise and make friends.

There is the opportunity to progress from these sessions to join a team at one of the two clubs.

All you need to do is register and turn up with a drink and shin pads to give a session a go!
