Virginia Water play at the same level of football as Whitstable and are currently 5th in the Combined Counties League Premier Division North with 18 points from 12 matches. Virginia Water is in the Surrey borough of Runnymede, close to the artificial lake within Windsor Great Park from which it takes its name, and is also home to the Wentworth estate. The football club was formed in 1920 and during the reigns of King Edward VIII and King George VI gained financial support of £2 per year from the Crown. They are currently hoping to relocate to a new ground not far from The Timbers, where they have played for most of their history, as it cannot be developed sufficiently for Step 5 football. The first team have recently therefore had a groundshare at Windsor FC, but currently play their home games 24 miles to the north in Berkshire at Arbour Park, the home of Slough Town FC.
