Local Derby night against Herne Bay on Monday, and arguably our toughest game of the season. I wanted a good performance from my team before a three week winter break for me. I got a gutsy performance from the lads and we went into the half time break, thanks to out keeper, just 1-0 down, which was a great effort indeed. We conceded almost in the first minute of the second half and again gave away a penalty for running, eventually losing 3-0. It could have been worse if it wasn't for our keeper and defenders getting some good blocks in. Thank you also to Herne Bay FC for the warm welcome they gave us. I am a proud manager after that performance; the score line did not reflect the effort that we put in.

Home to Woodnesborough Reds next, on the 10th February.
